The 2000 player welcomed his first CBA season with his unique confidence. Then, he is looking forward to hitting NBA. Wang quanze told me that next year he will automatically get the NBA draft qualification. He will impact the NBA and try to participate in the summer league. I hope that next year, I will be following China’s men’s basketball to fight for the Paris Olympics. This summer, after Wang quanze completed all his studies at the Wharton business school of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated successfully, he returned to CBA Guangzhou team to start the first season of his career. In fact, the Guangzhou team had registered for Wang quanze last year, but at that time he did not log on to CBA immediately in order to complete his senior studies. But now, after successfully completing his studies, Wang quanze has come to CBA with full confidence. Wang quanze completed a three-year class B renewal contract with Guangzhou team this summer. In the new season, Wang quanze will wear the No. 23 jersey. Wang quanze said confidently: “I am ready for this. Although I have not played many games before, I am a mature player in both spiritual and technical aspects. My advantage is comprehensiveness. I can help the team from many aspects and I am a player who plays with his mind.” At the same time, Wang quanze revealed that he would automatically get the qualification to participate in the NBA draft next year, and he would also challenge the NBA. “This is my dream.” He said. Wang quanze, born in 2000 and 2 meters tall, started his basketball career in Beijing No. 4 Middle School and played for two years in Beijing No. 4 Middle School from 2012 to 2014, later he went to American high school to study and play basketball. “I played basketball under the influence of my parents. I especially wanted to play basketball at that time. I used to fall asleep with basketball like many teenagers who love basketball. I have long hoped that I can take a career in the future. But at the same time, my parents are very strict with their studies. I remember that when I was in Beijing No. 4 Middle School, I studied for a long time every day, so my training time would be much less. Our school team has more than 20 students in total, and the training time is about two hours a day. I don’t think I have much time to polish and improve my football skills. Later, when I had the chance to go to the United States to study in high school, I decided to take such a development path, because I could study and play basketball there. I think this road is more suitable for me.” Wang quanze said. After graduating from high school in the United States, Wang quanze chose the Wharton business school of the University of Pennsylvania, which is a world-famous university and ranked first in the United States for five consecutive years, almost all the students who graduated from this school will become the best in the field of business. Wang quanze chose this school, and the proportion of his studies was relatively large. Of course, he was very interested in business, which was also an important reason. But the initial time to enter Binda was not as good as imagined. In his words, “Every day feels like a year”. “I don’t think it is difficult to make this decision (choose Binda), but in fact, it is rare that it is not a little bit later. So I regret it.” After Wang quanze finished, he smiled humbly. “At the beginning, it was very difficult to integrate into a new environment and different cultures. We need to learn how to balance and adjust between learning and playing.” In the freshman season, Wang quanze was not the main force of the team at first, but he, who was competitive in his bones, gradually won the trust of the coach with a harder training attitude than others, he later became the starting player of the team. “It is even more difficult to successfully rise from high school to less than 1% of the players in the first-class League of American universities. At the same time, it is difficult to stand out from 1%. Especially if it is more difficult to play from the beginning of freshman year, and play the main force in freshman year, this is actually a thing that ordinary people cannot imagine.” Wang quanze started in the first half of the freshman season, and he averaged 8.5 points. However, in the sophomore season, Wang quanze had an injury on his knee, experienced two operations and a long recovery period, which was a low point in his career. “This injury may be caused by strain. Because I have been practicing continuously since I was in high school. I remember that it would often be three times a day, even four times a day. Because I want to do better than others. However, with more training, the football skills have increased, and at the same time, the body has a greater load, resulting in continuous wear of knees.” Wang quanze recalled, “after the injury, the first operation was performed, but the recovery time after the operation was obviously much longer than what the doctor told me at that time. Then the university coach asked me to check it again. I found the team doctor of team basketable nets. He told me that I was afraid that I would have a second operation. The second operation was very successful, but it took one year before and after the two operations. At the beginning, I felt depressed. I didn’t know why such a thing happened to me. But then I thought that there were many more difficult people than me, and I gradually changed my perspective on this matter. In fact, it was also the time of that year that made me understand that life was greater than basketball. My body was hit, but my spirit was improved.” Wang quanze spent a year recovering from knee injuries. After he recovered, he encountered the adverse effects of the epidemic, which forced his college season to be suspended. “Sophomore and junior didn’t play the ball, which made my college career play in half. If you want to say that you have any regrets in the four years of college, I think it may be that you play a little less in the game.” Wang quanze said, After four years of study, Wang quanze came to CBA confidently.
