Lakers GM Pelinka said in a statement: “We are very happy that Dennis Schroder can return to the Lakers, dennis and coach Ham had the experience of working together (in the five seasons from 2013 to 2018, Ham worked as a teaching assistant in the Eagles, and Schroeder was in the Eagle array in these five seasons), they all have a tough mentality and a strong competitive advantage.”

According to previous reports, Schroeder and the Lakers signed a contract of $2.64 million a year.
Schroeder played for the Lakers in the 20-21 season, when he averaged 15.4 points, 3.5 boards, 5.8 and 1.1 steals.
