Live Bar, September 16 -sun’s chest jersey sponsor and online payment service provider PayPal released a statement today saying that if Savo continues to participate in Sun’s affairs after the suspension period (one year), then they will not renew their contract with the sun after the existing sponsorship contract expires.
PayPal wrote in the statement: PayPal is a value-driven company and has been active in opposing racial discrimination, gender discrimination and other discrimination. We have reviewed the NBA’s independent investigation report on Sun boss Savo and found that his behavior is unacceptable and conflicts with our values. The sponsorship contract between PayPal and Sun will expire at the end of the new season. According to NBA survey results, if Savo continues to participate in team affairs after the suspension period, we will not renew the contract.
We strongly protest Savo’s behavior, but we still support the Suns, including head coach Monty Williams, general manager James Jones, assistant general manager Morgan Cato and Senior Vice President Kim Corbitt of the staff and culture department.
