Western executives: Warriors may treat Poole like Harrison Barnes

Live Bar, September 14, a western executive talked about warrior player Poole in an interview with Heavy.

The executive said: “Poole is a bit like Harrison Barnes before. He has proved that he can perform when others in the team are injured. And when Clay came back from injury and everyone was talking about Wikins, Poole was delayed.”

“It depends on how warriors will properly handle Poole’s contract. But if Poole detects that the Warriors don’t want himself, in my opinion, he may go to other teams to seek the next contract like Barnes. Warriors once replaced Barnes with Durant. Maybe they would treat Poole like this.”

During the off-season this summer, Warriors can renew the contract with Poole in advance, but if the two sides still fail to reach a renewal on October 18 (the day before the regular season starts), the window for renewing the contract in advance will be closed, poole will become a restricted free agent in the Ming and summer.
