Live Bar, September 22 -recently, jazz player Clarkson was interviewed by American media Complex.
The reporter asked, “everyone is talking about the importance of physical training for professional athletes, but can you talk about how important mental health is to athletes?”
Clarkson said: “This is a very important thing. It is a very important part of my next career and my growth as a person. I am always training my body, go to the gym early in the morning and stay all day. But I also spend time meditating, feeling my breath and focusing on myself,. To be honest, this makes me a better person and keeps me in a good state of mind.”
Reporter: “Obviously, when playing away games during the season, you are always busy. What will you do to keep your mind clear?”
Clarkson said: “I like to sit in a quiet room, close my eyes, breathe, and listen to what is happening around me. I put my whole heart into it and really enjoy that moment, in the hotel room, or on the bus, sometimes I can’t play anything in my headphones, I close my eyes, listen to what is happening around you.”
