Sun statement: Boss Savo’s behavior sometimes does not reflect his own or team’s values.

Live Bar, September 14-NBA announced the investigation and punishment results of the previous charges of racial discrimination and misogyny against the boss of Sun & Mercury (WNBA team) Savo, savo was banned from participating in all affairs of the sun and Mercury team for one year and fined 10 million dollars.

Sun officially issued a statement: “Sun is committed to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive working environment without discrimination and harassment. As reported by NBA, we fully cooperated with NBA’s survey, which covers the past 18 years, including encouraging current and former employees to participate.

NBA’s findings on teams mainly focus on most of the historical issues that have been solved in recent years, including meaningful improvements to our workplace compliance program.

Under the guidance of senior leaders, we have strengthened the company culture and focused on creating a workplace where everyone feels knapsack and valued. These efforts include hiring new human resources supervisors, improving our employee handbook, clearly defining our expectations for appropriate workplace behaviors, and adopting strong codes of conduct, establish sound procedures to report misconduct, hold training on respecting the workplace and our corresponding policies and procedures. However, we still take the NBA survey results seriously and will implement the workplace improvement measures that NBA has determined that we have not yet implemented.

Savo is also responsible for his actions. He admitted that during the 18 years in charge of the team, sometimes his behavior did not reflect his own or the values of the team, it is also inconsistent with the progress made by the team management with the full support of Roberts.

We are proud of the progress we have made and will continue to move forward to build a first-class workplace for the team.”
