Kidd: happy to get a big contract for Brunson. I like to train players and let them get paid.

Live broadcast, September 14th news Lone Ranger Coach Kidd recently visited All The Smoke podcasting program, in which he talked about The big contract Brunson got from Knicks.

Knicks officials announced earlier that they had signed a four-year contract with Brunson worth $0.104 billion. In this regard, Kidd said: “The most important part is that I am very happy that he got the big contract. He once helped us, and I knew Cuban didn’t like the result. But I personally like the feeling of letting a player get a big contract.”

“On the first day of training camp, I will say to every player, ‘Tell me what you want. Everyone will think for a few minutes. In fact, there is no need to think about it at all. What they want is a big contract and what they want is to be able to play. After getting this answer, I will say ‘cool, I can help you, but my requirement is to get something, such as communication, trust and effort. If you ask Brunson, he will tell you that good things happened just because he listened to me. I just want every player to reach a successful position.”

Speaking of Brunson’s final choice of Knicks, Kidd said: “There are 30 companies in NBA. We can’t all stay in the same company. For him, it’s good to go to New York and get a chance to become a team leader. I am happy for him.”
