When talking about whether Durant had seriously considered the reunion with Durant when applying for a deal, Curry said, “Yes.”
“I have never hesitated about this matter. From the three years we played together, I played with KD and was familiar with him. I think he is a very good person. I think he is misunderstood. I think what he has experienced in his life makes him distrust the people around him in terms of security. I can understand these things. After playing with him and getting to know him, I love this guy.
“If you say, ‘Oh, Durant is coming back, we will play with him again. ‘I was full of fun when I was a teammate with him before. I would say, ‘Oh Yeah!’
“But you also understand that if we leave this matter aside, I am also very confident to win the championship again with the current lineup.”
