Live Bar, September 15 -today, Knight coach JB-bikstav was interviewed by the media at the press conference and talked about the team’s follow-up plan.
Bikstav said: “The arrival of Mitchell will not change our goals and ways of playing. Everyone trains hard every day to make the team the most competitive and selfless team. So Mitchell will be integrated into the team immediately after joining the team. As for the coach team, we will watch the changes of the team with these great ambitions. The current lineup can make the team energetic and threatening when attacking, all of which have entered a new level.”
“We are very excited that the team can increase their talent and personality, and we are also thinking about the road the team will take. Looking back on some competitions last year, we just lack that level of experience. Now the team has players with these important game experience, which will help the team overcome difficulties. Joining a player of the same level as Mitchell will make his teammates better because he will push them. In summer training (when competing with Garland), Mitchell talked about these guys in the team being very competitive. Imagine our current training situation. So now our training needs to be further improved and the competition will be further improved, because we are pushing each other and competing at different levels. We are very excited about this. We have arranged the coaching staff to step aside and make plans. We have to make some changes, but we will make it work.” Bikstav said.
This summer, Knight and Jazz completed a heavy deal and Mitchell joined the Knight.
In the 2021-22 season, Mitchell played 67 regular season matches with an average of 33.8 minutes, scoring 25.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
